“MINI-SPLIT” BEDROOM HEATER/AIR CONDITIONER
The bedroom area can be heated or cooled by that shiny white thing on the wall above the bed.
It is controlled only by the remote located on the wall to the left of the bed.
The orange “ON/OFF” button turns the unit on and off.
The oval ARROW buttons set your desired temperature higher or lower.
The unit BEEPs when you turn it on or off. The little green light on the bottom right of the unit lets you know if it’s on.
The unit takes a few minutes to warm up before it starts to operate.
The remote acts as the thermostat, so it should be unobstructed.
Please turn the off the heater/cooler when not needed. We depend on our guests to help us conserve.
When you turn it on or off, a beep sounds and the little green light on the lower right side of the unit goes off. THANK YOU!
TROUBLES
If the unit runs 10+ minutes but doesn’t heat or cool, it could be two things:
1. Someone played with extra buttons. Slide down the lower front panel of the remote, and click off "ECONO COOL". Or...
2. We need to call a service technician.
Please don’t touch the wall unit. If a burning smell occurs, switch the unit’s breaker off (located just outside the kitchen window).
DEAD BATTERIES
The remote control display is not backlit, but if is very dim or off, or doesn’t activate the unit, replace the two AAA batteries (find extras in the right drawer of the big hutch or in the plastic bin under the sink).
EXTRA BUTTONS
There are extra buttons under the lower front panel of the remote. We suggest not using these, unless you simply can't stand how the air is hitting you. In that case:
The FAN button allows you to control the speed of the air flow.
The VANE button allows you to direct the vertical angle of air flow.
Please set FAN and VANE back to Auto (whirl symbol) when done. And please don't use any of the other extra buttons, as it usually leaves future guests with problems.
