3. The blue handle to the right of the pressurizer shuts off water to the Roadrunner cabin and a few associated outdoor spigots. Turn it 90 degrees clockwise to shut off water. The green handle below shuts off water to the entire property. If necessary, turn it clockwise just until it stops (don't force it past the stopping point).
1. FIll a container with at least a gallon of water, so you have something to use/drink while the water is shut off.
2. Locate the pressurizer, inside the cabinet in the Roadrunner "Studio" near the bathroom.
WATER SHUTOFF
The water to the entire ranch flows from the well to the pressurizer, and then out to the rest of the property.
4. As an OPTIONAL EXTRA measure, you can turn off the well pump and pressurizer by flipping the 7/8/9 combo breaker switch OFF (to the right). It is located in the circuit breaker panel near the bathroom door in the Roadrunner "Turkey Roost" studio. This will shut off the well and pressurizer, and cut off all water to the ranch (aside from what is already in the pressurizer, water heaters and pipes).
TURN WATER BACK ON
1. Make sure you close the faucet that you used to drained the lines (if you did).
2. Flip the7/8/9 circuit breaker back on, if you flipped it off.
3. Flip the blue water valve handle counter-clockwise back to the down position. AND/OR slowly re-open the green handle water valve in the pressurizer counter-clockwise (adds minimal stress on the pipe system) until the knob just barely stops turning.
4. If water was turned off to the entire property, run the Cactus Flower sinks and shower until uninterrupted water flow is re-established. There will be noisy air/sputtering for a couple of minutes. This can often clog sink and shower head screens, so now is a good time to unscrew them and wash out out the sediment.
5. Repeat step #4 in the Roadrunner cabin.
6. Congratulations!
