ROADRUNNER MISCELLANEOUS
SLEEPING ON THE COUCH
The couch can fold down for sleeping. Use the sheets from the second shelf in the white linen cabinet in the studio (please don't use the king-size sheet sets from the top shelf).
INFLATABLE MATTRESS
The air bed is located under the regular ged, in a plastic bin. There should be a set of sheets in the bin. If not, use the sheets from the second shelf in the linen cabinet (please don't use the sheet sets from the top shelf).
BIONAIRE PORTABLE ELECTRIC HEATER
WARNING! Do not use near flammable objects. Press the left power button to turn the unit on/off. Press LOW HEAT or HIGH HEAT. The far right button is for oscillation. Please turn off or unplug the heater when not in use to prevent fire danger.
CEILING FANS
Please don't pull any chains on any ceiling fans. Bedroom and living room ceiling fans should be controlled by remote only. Studio-space ceiling fans are controlled by wall-switch only.
LIGHT BULBS
Extra bulbs can be found in a plastic bin under the sink. Before you replace a bulb, check that the light switch is not completely dimmed down.
GOLDFISH
You can feed the lil’ fish in the pond behind the cabin 1 tablespoon of fish food (located in the kitchen cabinet near the back door) a day. The happy fish will come to the surface to say hello.
CIGARETTE BUTTS
Smoking is allowed outside only. Please try to maintain your butts and throw them in a trash can.
KITCHEN SINK
Due to the delicate nature of our septic system, please don’t put food chunks/solids down the sink.
There is no garbage disposal. Please put coffee grounds in trash or near a plant (grounds clog sinks).
Please put food waste and grease/oil (pour onto paper towels), in the trash.
LEFTOVERS
Please toss leftovers, and don’t leave any food outside of the fridge when you check out.
As much as we love our little desert mice, we prefer to keep their food-hunting outdoors.
TRASH
If your trash bag gets full, you can place it in one of the metal trash bins near the front gate. Extra bags can be found either at the bottom of your empty bin, under the sink, or in the metal cabinet in the studio space.
RECYCLING
Unfortunately, we do not have any means of recycling. Colored bottles can be left by the bird feeder, and we will find a way to use them artistically. Everything else will go to regular trash, unless you take it with you.
