Turn on the tv using the red TV button on the DISH remote.

 

If you see “No Signal” on the screen, set the tv to SAT input:

Press the white TV button on the DISH remote.

Press the gray INPUT button on the DISH remote until "SATELLITE" is highlighted.

 

Press the white SAT button on the DISH remote.  If the satellite was not already showing a channel, it should now. 

 

Use DISH remote to select a music channel (usually 923-981 and 6002-6099). If these channels are missing, press the blue GUIDE button on the DISH remote. then select "My Channels". 

 

On the Yamaha receiver, press the TV button.

This should turn on the receiver and automatically set it to play the satellite sound.

 

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME knob on the Yamaha receiver.

 

Turn off the tv using the red TV button on the DISH remote and enjoy.

 

 

OUTDOOR SPEAKERS

 

The music plays on the outside speakers as well. There is no way to separately turn them off.
